Ensemble Video

Ensemble Video is an Enterprise Media Content System used at Temple University.


Ensemble Video is a web-based multimedia content management system that enables efficient, coordinated, and collaborative rich media management across multiple departments and users.  Ensemble Video’s YouTube-like interface provides a flexible way to easily add, share, and integrate video and audio.

Examples of Use:


Temple University faculty and staff can request an Ensemble account. To do this:

  1. Access the Ensemble Account Request form.  Note that this form is also available on the website.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Complete the form, and click Submit Request.

Using Ensemble Live Capture

The Ensemble Live Capture feature enables you to deliver a live stream that will be automatically captured and placed in your Media Library upon completion.

Before You Begin
Before you can begin using Live Capture, please perform the following steps to request access to this resource:

  1. Access the Ensemble Account Request form.  Note that this form is also available on the website.
  2. Click Next.
  3. In the Description box, type Requesting Ensemble Live access and click Next.  
  4. Under How Would You Like to Use Ensemble, select the option to Record and stream live video and have the recording available at a late date.
  5. Complete the rest of the form, and click Submit Request.

Once your request is submitted, a system administrator will create the necessary accounts and will contact you with the details.

Upon receiving the account details, please follow the steps below to set up Ensmeble OBS on your computer or the EnsembleLive app on your phone or tablet.

Download or Delete Files

In order to maximize storage space on the Ensemble media server, please periodically log in to your account to:

  • Review multimedia files you have stored in your Ensemble libraries,
  • Download multimedia files you’d like to keep, and

  • Delete multimedia files you no longer need.
