Use Compatibility View to properly display Temple websites in Internet Explorer.
Certain administrative websites at Temple (including Kronos, Cognos and iGreentree) may not display properly when using Internet Explorer. To remedy this problem, you will need to use a feature called Compatibility View. The following steps explain how to set up Internet Explorer so that Temple websites automatically display in Compatibility View:
Note: These steps assume you are using Internet Explorer 11. To verify your version, click the icon on the upper-right portion of the Internet Explorer window and select About Internet Explorer.
- Click the icon on the upper-right portion of the Internet Explorer window and select Compatibility View settings.
Perform the following:
- In the Add this website box: type temple.edu
- Make sure a check mark appears to the left of Display intranet sites in Compatibility View.
- Make sure a check mark does not appear to the left of Use Microsoft compatibility lists.
- Click Add.
The entry for temple.edu now appears in the Websites you've added to Compatibility View box. Click Close.
