Banner System Maintenance Scheduled for this Saturday (7/11)

To keep our systems current and provide the latest functionality, Information Technology Services did perform TUportal and Banner monthly maintenance on:

Saturday, July 11 from 10:00 am through 12:00 noon

During this time, TUportal and a number of Banner and related university systems were unavailable. For a complete list of systems that were affected by the maintenance, see the System Maintenance page.

Note that systems such as Canvas, MyHousing, TUmail, OWLbox, Zoom, Diamond Dollars and the TUlibrary databases were available during the maintenance window. When you went to tuportal.temple.edu, to access them and other resources, they were available through links presented on a substitute page.

SERC Building - Brief Network Outage

Please be advised that the SERC Building on Main Campus did experience a brief network outage from 4:08 p.m. to 4:16 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8th, 2020. Network Services has resolved this issue.

Canvas

Current Status:
Resolved

On Tuesday, July 7th, 2020, from 2:54 p.m. until 3:15 p.m., the authetnication system for Canvas was unavailable. Those that were logged in prior with an active session were able to continue using the system. However, attempts to login during the noted window received a Single Sign On error. ITS has resolved the issue. Please note, if you are still seeing an error, you may need to close / re-open your browser or clear your browser cache, steps available here.
