TUGmail to Outlook 365

DYK that Temple is in the process of moving Gmail accounts to Outlook 365? Many accounts have already been moved. 

How will you know if your account was already moved?

Go to the tumail.temple.edu website and log in. If you see Outlook, your account has been moved. If you see Gmail, it has not been moved. Keep an eye on your email to learn when your account will be moved and how you can prepare.

Outlook 365 Auto Mail Forwarding

January 8, 2020:

Update: The status of the automatic forwarding option of Outlook 365 is currently intermittent.  Information Technology Services is still researching.  More information will be provided as it becomes available.

 

January 7, 2020:

For security reasons Microsoft has globally turned off the ability for email from an Outlook 365 account to be automatically forwarded to external email addresses.

This also includes messages being automatically forwarded to @tuhs.temple.edu and @fccc.edu accounts.  

Messages sent to an account with forwarding already set are bouncing. Information Technology Services is researching.

A recent Banner upgrade release included a bug that has impacted the normal "record does not exist" message which usually displays when a search for a record is not found.  The "record does not exist" message is no longer displaying, however the search either hangs showing no results or other non-related records are displayed.  If you experience this issue, do not close your browser, but instead send an email to dbaalert@temple.edu to have your session terminated. This will be necessary until the vendor, Ellucian provides a patch.
