Tech Bits: Access Wireless at Other Universities through eduroam

Date

Tuesday, May 1, 2018

If you're visiting another university for a major event such as commencement, be sure to check if the institution is an eduroam (education roaming) participant. If it is, you can enjoy free and secure wireless access during your visit without the need to obtain login credentials for that specific institution. Local participating institutions include Bryn Mawr College, Drexel University, Penn State and the University of Pennsylvania.

Logging In:

To access wireless, look for the eduroam network and log-in using your AccessNet username@temple.edu as your username, along with your AccessNet password. Be sure to include @temple.edu after your AccessNet username to associate your credentials with Temple.

Likewise, visitors from other eduroam participating universities can access Temple's wireless service by signing in with their university account, such as username@drexel.edu and password.

For more details, including a list of participating US and international institutions, see Temple's eduroam page
