Tech Bits: Access Wireless at Other Universities through eduroam (Faculty & Staff)

Date

Tuesday, February 14, 2017

If you’re visiting another university, be sure to check if the institution is an eduroam® (education roaming) member. If it is, you can enjoy free and secure wireless access during your visit. Local participating institutions include Bryn Mawr College, Cabrini University, Drexel University, Haverford College, Penn State, Philadelphia University, Swarthmore College and the University of Pennsylvania.

Logging in
To access wireless, look for the eduroam network and log in with your AccessNet username@temple.edu and password. Be sure to include @temple.edu after your AccessNet username to associate your credentials with Temple.

Likewise, visitors from other eduroam member universities can access Temple's wireless service by signing in with their university account, such as username@drexel.edu and password.

For more details, including a list of participating US and international institutions, see Temple's eduroam page.
