If your web browser seems to be acting a bit sluggish, try clearing out the browser cache (pronounced cash). The cache is a holding area where your computer temporarily places web pages that you've viewed. This is done so when you view the pages again, the browser can quickly reload the page elements, such as logos and images, without having to download them.
The web browser also saves cookies (such as your shopping preferences for various websites), a history of the web addresses you have visited, passwords and information you entered on some forms. Your download history, which includes a list of files you have downloaded, is saved too.
As the cache fills up, it can slow down your browser's performance. To resolve this issue, do some digital housekeeping by following the instructions below for your browser:
