Tech Bits: Reserve a Breakout Room Online! (Students)

The breakout rooms in the Main Campus TECH Center, Health Sciences Center TECH Center and Tuttleman Computer Center are filling up fast during this busy time of the semester. If you need to work with a group or practice a presentation, you can easily reserve a breakout room online.

You can reserve breakout rooms up to one week in advance and maybe even for same day use. To reserve a breakout room online:


Tech Bits: Consider Your Colleagues by Sharing Work Files (Faculty & Staff)

OWLbox is a helpful resource for centrally managing work files. But what happens if you are out of the office for an extended period of time or permanently leave Temple? For business continuity, it's a good idea to ensure your important work files can be accessed by a supervisor or colleague. Failure to take measures in advance of these types of situations can result in lost access to files or even worse, permanent loss of shared files.


Update Antivirus Software (Students)

If you previously purchased Symantec Endpoint Protection from Temple for use at home, you are eligible for a free upgrade to the latest version. Note that this version of Symantec will work with Windows 10 and macOS Sierra. To obtain the upgrade for your home computer, go to Temple's Download website.
