Welcome to the User Experience and Digital Platforms Department, where we drive the strategic development, management, and enhancement of our web technology platforms, Content Management System (CMS), and internal portal. As leaders in this domain, we shape and oversee the university's digital presence and collaboration technologies, ensuring an exceptional user experience for students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Collaborating closely with Temple’s Strategic Marketing team and all School/College/Unit content developers, we create a seamless, innovative, and user-centric online environment aligned with the university's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
Our key responsibilities include defining and implementing the technology strategy for user experience and digital platform development, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. We lead the design, development, and maintenance of the web platform, CMS, and internal portal, driving continuous improvement and innovation in user experience and performance.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, marketing, and engineering, is central to our operations, ensuring the delivery of user-centric digital solutions. We establish and communicate a clear vision for the future of web collaboration and user experience, managing the selection, implementation, and optimization of technology tools and platforms to support our digital infrastructure.
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, we track the effectiveness and performance of the digital platform while ensuring adherence to industry best practices, standards, and compliance requirements. Working closely with the Strategic Marketing team, we ensure alignment of university websites with brand and marketing strategies, while promoting and ensuring compliance with web accessibility standards to make digital content inclusive to all users.
Additionally, we oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of the university's web portal, performing testing and troubleshooting of portal and web application issues reported by end users. Through our dedicated efforts, we strive to create an engaging, accessible, and user-friendly digital environment that enhances the overall experience of our university community.
